The term e-marketing or internet marketing today is rooted in every marketing effort. It facilitates the creation of emotional attachment on target audience further improved by a mix of conventional channels, TV, Radio and print media. It thus creates a trend or craze in community.
Interactivity provides the marketer to collect useful target viewers and customers’ data such as their preferences, values and opinion to make money online. These data will help the marketers provide more values to their product, thus strengthening customer loyalty. It also bring higher accountability on ad Marketers and give to more accurate way of measuring ad’s effectiveness thus giving importance in media placement decision.
Content is always king on the other hand to generate interactivity marketer should think hard to make a right content that can invite target viewers. With the right content you can actually draw customers. The era Web 2.0 marked by teamwork and sharing lead to the wall between the content provider (publisher) and the content consumer (viewer). Marketer can make use of community generated contents to draw viewers and make interactivity than creating their own contents. These can be found in social media sites such as Youtube, Facebook or Multiply.
In summary, there is a strong relationship among Contents, Channels and Community. Contents are provided inline with the rare characteristics of the channels their relationship is content. Contents contain the brand of elements that is communicated to community their relationship is branding. While channel to community relationship is interactivity where the channels are community generated trend through creating interactivity.
